How to get trained on the PTSD-RI-5 and PCL-5 Any trauma related treatment cycles started before Novemwill continue to use the old measures.Įvidence-Based Practices (EBPs) that are affected include the following: Seeking Safety (SS) Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools (CBITS) Alternatives for Families-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT) Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP)–Trauma Focus and Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-Trauma Focus. In order to have the most current versions in use to evaluate PEI trauma related practices, changes in measures are needed. These measures have recently been updated by the developers to reflect new DSM-5 Criteria. Some trauma measures used to evaluate Prevention Early Intervention (PEI) practices relied on DSM-IV diagnostic criteria for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder.
